Start Date: 2 weeks from hire.
Assignment Type: 13 Week Contract
Shift/Hours: 8 hour shifts (8a-5p)
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and assist callers with scheduling appointments
- Utilize phone systems and computer software to manage and update appointment schedules
- Coordinate with medical staff and patients to ensure timely and accurate scheduling
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize scheduling efficiency
Qualifications:
- Experience working with phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with emergency room (ER) procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
