Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Type: PRN: 32-40 Hours/Week

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift - 6:30am-3:00pm Full Time and Part Time, 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm Part Time (weekends Included), 3rd Shift 10:30pm-7:00am Full Time

Duties Include:

Provides professional nursing services to residents in the Kentucky Veteran's Centers utilizing the nursing process.
Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to meet residents needs.
Assess plans, implements, and evaluates care for the residents.
Documents, comments, and reports clinical issues in clear, concise manner to appropriate personnel.
Ensures updates are clear, specific, and timely.
Participates in all aspects of direct nursing care including responding to emergency situations.
Participates in staff education and serves as preceptor in new employer orientation.
Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Current and valid CNA license
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
Current BLS certification is required
High School diploma or GED
