Finding your EDGE is important and our diversity program focuses on:

Women-Owned Business

We are proud to be a Women-Owned Business and a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

Benefits of partnering with a WBENC-Certified Women's Business Enterprise

Women-owned since our start in 2014, Medical Edge supports clients from small local businesses to Fortune 500 companies globally providing recruitment manpower solutions. When a company partners with a diversity business such as Medical Edge, they gain many benefits, such as:

Tax Incentives

Working with a WBENC Certified diversity business can provide your organization with many tax benefits. The federal government affords tax incentives to those who conduct business with minority and women-owned businesses. Additionally, tax liabilities are reduced for projects funded with federal or state grants or loans when the supplier is a women-owned business.

Greater Profitability and New Revenue Opportunity Sources

Research conducted by the Hackett Group shows that working with a WBENC Certified business can increase profitability with as much as 130% return on investment, providing distinct competitive advantages amongst existing vendors. Additionally, the researchers concluded that procurement organizations that work with a diverse supplier base also had lower overall operating costs.

Innovation and Creativity

Diversity businesses like Medical Edge bring innovation, creativity, and flexibility to the table in order to stand out among our competitors. The core of our business is our people and we provide excellent quality service and industry-leading response times to our clients. Due to our standard of excellence, clients come to us for solutions that answer their strategic business needs.

According to a 2017 research study by The Hackett Group, diverse suppliers either meet or exceed performance expectations 99% of the time.

Commitment to Supplier Diversity

WBENC Certified WBE’s are among the fastest-growing sector of our economy. By working with a women-owned business, you show your company's commitment to working in diverse markets and furthering economic growth in local communities.

According to the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, the WBENC certification standard is the most relied upon certification of women-owned businesses as a supplier diversity business program. This certification validates that a business is 51 percent owned, controlled, operated, and managed by a woman or women. The WBENC aims to "foster diversity in the world of commerce. Diversity promotes innovation, opens new channels of revenue, and creates partnerships that provide opportunities that fuel the economy.”

"Our pursuit for excellence and being the best in the industry continues to be the forefront of our daily purpose. We take very seriously the work that we do as we know this is the livelihood of people that we employ. It's not about being a great recruitment agency, although we take pride in that as well, but it is about ensuring that we change lives and do it in the best way possible."

MER and Our Forest

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have partnered with Our Forest to plant a tree every time we get a new follower on LinkedIn. Their work creates jobs for people facing extreme poverty, restores and protects wildlife habitats, and improves the climate resiliency of our planet. We are proudly planting trees in Madagascar and Mozambique, where important mangrove forests are being restored. These forests play a vital role in the ecosystem for both the land and marine animals that rely on them. We have planted 90 trees since we started this initiative and absorbed 5,000 kg CO2 from the atmosphere. Learn more about our impact on our sustainability profile.
