Regulatory Compliance
• Provide compliance program, including related policies and procedures, applicable to the practice.
• Perform annual compliance training for the employees.
• Perform annual documentation and coding training for the provider.
• Provide auditing and monitoring services:
• Perform documentation reviews.
• Provide confidential hotline services.
• Perform investigation of potential compliance issues.
• Create and maintain HIPAA privacy documents and policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance with HIPAA privacy related issues.
• OSHA.
• Provide initial and annual employee education/training as to workplace safety and health.
• Perform investigation and review of OSHA complaints/infractions.
• Monitor compliance with required reporting and recordkeeping regulations.
• Provide support for practice if infraction or complaint occurs.
• Monitor compliance with state and Federal rules and regulations.
• Maintain representation and participate in healthcare-related organizations as deemed appropriate.
