• Monitor insurance verification.
• Monitor billing and collection and service as liaison to the practice.
• Monitor cash collections.
• Approve invoices.
• Monitor vendor performance and billings.
• Monitor vendor contracts for pricing and assist in renegotiating better
pricing if possible.
• Coordinate vendor selection for long-term medical record storage, retrieval, and HIPPA compliant destruction as appropriate.
• Monitor lab costs and lab services collections.
• Renegotiate lab prices as deemed appropriate.

• Assist the provider with hire/fire decision support.
• Assist the provider with staffing model/budget implications.
• Oversee practice manager/office lead performance.
• Monitor practice operation efficiency.
• Practice staff training.
• Train front desk office staff in use of MedicalEdge systems.
• Assist with coaching and training of practice office staff.
• Assist with and respond to patient complaints as deemed appropriate.
• Practice compliance. Monitor practice OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA compliance.
• Miscellaneous.
• Assist in maintaining hospital, hospice, nursing homes and etc. relationships, negotiate directorship stipends and monitor stipend collection.
• Assist in stabilizing the practice during periods of change and other stress.
• Monitor risk management procedures of the practice.
• Assist in mediating relationships in the practice.
• Facilitate physician interviews.
• Assist in negotiating sharing of applicable costs of the practice, as appropriate.
