• Assist in problem resolution.
• Manage payroll deduction management.
• Process monthly benefit bills.
• Semimonthly COBRA notification.
• Host benefit health fairs.
• Host intranet-based benefit buffet and suggestion box.• Provider benefit programs administration.
• Administer vehicle reimbursement program.
• Maintain employee files/database.
• Manage 401(k):• Enrollment.
• Payroll deductions.
• Quarterly adjustments.
• Annual audit for government compliance.• Manage comprehensive integrated HR information system.
• Standard reports. Provide:
• Extract reports for other departments/management.
• Monthly report to state on hires.
• Quarterly turnover reports.
• Verify employment and salary information for:
• Employment.
• Mortgages and other loans.
• Write and maintain employee handbook and manuals as MedicalEdge deems appropriate.
• Employee relations.
• Assist managers in hiring, terminations and employee relations.
• Negotiate agreements with temporary agencies.
• Monitor temporary agency bills.
• Initial training.
• New employee orientation/training.
• Provide onsite and/or off cycle orientation sessions for a provider with an existing practice.
• Basic employee orientation to include HIPAA/OSHA and other designated e-learning.
• Management greeting & organizational values.
• Compliance.
• Comprehensive systems training.
• 30 day follow-up training on systems.
• Time and attendance system training for non-exempt staff.
• HR system training for all staff.
• Patient relations.• Provide training on MedicalEdge systems and front office processes to a provider with an existing practice.
• Provide ongoing training (offered monthly at various locations of MedicalEdge) for existing staff relating to:
• Compliance.
• System updates/changes.
• Process improvements.
• Management and leadership development training. Assist with:
• Relationship and communication skills.
• Leadership/supervisory training.
• Team building.
• Organization chart preparation & maintenance (quarterly).
• Supervise receptionist staff.
• Supervise mail room processes.
• Support payroll services (in conjunction with accounting).• Semimonthly payroll checks.
• Direct deposit service.
• 401K withholding and funds transfer.
• W2/tax reporting.
• Monthly payroll reports of wages and hours.
